Context

When the ChatGPT and GPT-4 APIs became available, Weclever wanted an app that put AI assistance in users' hands for any task, while keeping pace with each model advance.

What we built

  • Unlimited chat with OpenAI's GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 models through the API.
  • Task-specific AI assistants, including fitness training and writing, with easy switching between them.
  • A simple, quick-access interface, making AI a tool rather than a complex product.
  • Weekly updates to incorporate new features and models.
  • An integration backend with usage and model cost controls.

The challenge

Speed with quality. The AI market was changing every week, and the app needed to keep up without breaking. That required architecture ready to replace and add models, per-conversation cost control, and a fast release process.

Results

An AI assistance app in production, with immediate answers to a wide range of questions and assistants for different fields. For Megaleios, it was one of the first products with language models in production, forming a foundation for the applied AI practice we now deliver to businesses.
